How to Update Organization Settings

This guide explains how Organization Administrators can edit key profile information for their organization, such as the name, description, website, and industry. Organization settings control how your organization appears to members and provide essential context for your team's collaborative workspace.

Required Permissions: You must have the OrgAdmin role to modify organization settings. Only Organization Administrators can access and edit these configuration options.

Organization Settings Interface

The Organization Settings page provides in-place editing capabilities for key organizational information. This interface allows authorized administrators to update profile details directly without complex forms or workflows.

1. Accessing Organization Settings
Navigate to the organization settings interface through multiple access paths:

  • Main Sidebar: Click "Organization" → "Settings" from the primary navigation menu.
  • Direct URL: Go directly to the settings page at https://safedevops.app/organizations/org-settings.
  • Quick Access: Use the organization dropdown in the top navigation bar and select "Settings".
  • Permission Verification: Ensure you have OrgAdmin privileges to access all editing capabilities.

2. Editing Organization Details

  • Organization Name: Click the name field to edit your organization's display name.

Organization Creation Date

  • Join Date: Shows when the organization was originally created on the Safedevops.app platform.
